Jukebox Music

Five shamrock leaves. Five Celtic-fusion songs. Each has its own charm and its own way of maximizing scoring. Hit the right notes for a song to make the crowd go wild with applause and you can test your sense of rhythm with the mini game.

The Songs

Flip through the jukebox song list with the flippers before launching a new ball. Stop on your favorite and aim for its featured table elements. Each song also has its own bonus feature and Applause Challenge.

Bonuses

While a song plays, its featured elements score 2x normal
Each song has an additional bonus that applies while the song plays AND for the rest of the game after successful completion of that song’s Rhythm minigame

Applause Challenge

To complete the challenge, fill the applause meter
Scores 200K, increasing by 20K for each subsequent completion
Completing a song’s Applause Challenge unlocks that song’s Rhythm minigame

Rhythm

Turn it on

Unlock Rhythm by completing the song's Applause Challenge
Start Rhythm by shooting the ball to the top capture

Feel the beat

Strike the notes at the right time with the flipper buttons
Score the max “Perfect” with hits as close to the strike line as possible
The meter at the bottom records your progress

Hit the notes on the beat to advance the meter
The closer you match the beat, the more it advances: a “Perfect” hit provides the biggest advance
Advance to the 1X marker to succeed and score 500K at the end of the song
Advance to 2x to score 1m or 4x to score 2m at the end of the song

Careful not to miss 5 notes in a row – you can’t recover and will fail the attempt. Nobody wants to see that happen

Turn it up

Once Rhythm is successfully completed for a song, the Jukebox automatically cues up a different song
Complete Rhythm for each of the 5 songs to score a hefty 5M. If you do it all over again, it will be worth an additional 1M each time
Each time a song’s Rhythm is completed, a 10% score modifier is applied to its featured element
When a song’s Rhythm is completed, the notes speed increases by 10% for the next Rhythm song

Other Cool Stuff

Perfect Pitch

Line up a perfect shot between the bumpers to score a Perfect Pitch worth 300K. If the ball touches a bumper the shot is Well Tuned and worth 50K
Light up the Super and those shots are now worth 2M or 500K
To light Super, make 5 Well Tuned shots or a single Perfect Pitch. Super will reset after being scored

Locked Multiball

For the 1st ball – make the Well Tuned shot
For the 2nd ball – hit the capture on the left
For the 3rd ball – get the Award capture

Lock up the balls

Lock the ball in the newly opened capture lane to earn 100K
After locking a ball, the lane closes and a new ball appears at the plunger
Balls cannot be locked while there is more than 1 ball in play

Turn it on

Triggered by locking the 3rd ball
All 3 locked balls are released as the same type as the current ball in play (powerball or normal)
During the first 30s of Locked Multiball, drained balls will automatically be returned to play

Scores 350K
Every fifth jackpot is a Super Jackpot worth 2M

Each song has its own Jackpot shot:

Light all the letters of the rainbow to trigger (100K scored per letter);

(R) Reset an outlane
(A) Lock a ball
(I) Make a skillshot
(N) Score 200K with bumpers
(B) Hit each capture
(O) Shoot 3 combos
(W) Collect an Award

Note that Pot-o-gold will not progress while there is more than 1 ball in play

When triggered:

Adds 1 ball into play
For 2 minutes, lost balls magically replenish up to 2 times
Ends upon the earlier of the loss of the 3rd multiball or the end of 2 minutes. If a multiball is in play at the end of the 2 minute timer, the ball stays in play but GOLD bonuses no longer apply.

Turn it up - during the multiball

GOLD targets reset at the start of pot-o-gold
GOLD targets score 10x normal points
Completion of the GOLD target set scores 1M
Earn the 1M GOLD award 5 times to light the MEGA GOLD capture worth 10M

Combos

Combo shots

Shots that are elements of a combo: any ramp, top capture, top right capture
Hit these elements one after another in any order to create a combo chain. Max 10 elements in a chain

Any of the following break combo chains:

A lapse of 3.5 seconds between elements
Bumper hits
Target hits
Perfect Pitch shot
The mini-ramp capture
The Award capture breaks the combo chain too but doubles the combo score

Combo chain shots score on a cumulative basis

2nd shot in chain: 30K
3rd shot in chain: 50K
4th shot in chain: 75K
5th shot in chain: 100K
6th shot in chain: 150K
7th shot in chain: 200K
8th shot in chain: 400K - Are you doing the math? That’s 1.05M total if you get an 8 shot chain!
9th shot in chain: 1M - Add 1 more for a 9-shot chain and you almost double it to total 2.1M!
10th shot in chain: 2M - 4.1M total for a 10 shot chain! Make it happen

Awards

How to trigger:

Complete the HIT and GOLD target sets to activate Awards

Once activated, a hit to the Award capture wins one of the following at random:

2x multiplier for ramps, bumpers, targets, combos or captures
a quick multiball
1M points
3M points

Fine print:

After receipt of an Award, reactivate the capture to be able to win additional Awards
Bonus X: after winning all 8 Awards, any further activation+Award capture scores a bonus 1M + 200K per completed song
An Award capture when inactive (target sets are incomplete) triggers a playfield 2x multiplier for 15 seconds instead of an Award

Playlist

How to trigger:

Light all 5 bottom rollovers to start a PLAYLIST

Playlist completion:

Hit 3 ramps in 30s to complete the Playlist
Each time you complete a Playlist, the number of required ramps increases by 1 for the subsequent Playlist
If you fail a Playlist (the timer runs out), the number of required ramps decreases by 1 (minimum is 3)

Completed Playlists score based on the number of ramps required:

3 ramps = 200K
4 ramps = 300K
5 ramps = 400K
6 ramps = 600K
7 ramps = 800K
8 ramps = 1M
9 ramps = 1.5M
10 ramps = 2M

Spins

Start Spins! with a capture in each hole
Gates score 6x points during Spins!
60 seconds to get 60 gate spins. Succeed and earn 300K points

The Fundamentals

Bumpers

Basic scoring:

Bumpers are worth 2.5k at the begining of the game but have the Higher Octave multiplier

Higher Octave;

Use the flippers to control which bumper is lit
Hits on the lit bumper get a 2x multiplier
After 8 hits on a lit bumper, progress to a Higher Octave and the lit bumper multiplier increases to 3x
The number of hits required to go to the next Higher Octave multiplier increases by 5 each time: 8 hits to achieve 3x, 13 for 4x, etc
Score 25K for each Higher Octave triggered, increased by any Award and/or song multipliers affecting bumpers
Max Higher Octave multiplier is 10x

Targets

1,200 points per
Target set scores 20K
Get ready for an Encore with the 3 targets on the right: a ball save for the next 12s

Reflex shot

When the ball rolls down an inlane, a target on the opposite side of the table is selected at random
Hit the selected target to instantly complete the target set and the set scores 2x
There's no time to line up the shot – the selected target lights up for a second only
